Co-Curricular Activities
Students are given training in music, dance, craft and yoga. Besides formal coaching in music and art, they are given opportunity to get involved in artistic, cultural and social activities through various clubs. Participation in at least one of the co-curricular activities is compulsory.
One important means of developing creative talent in the literary, artistic and cultural fields is the weekly meeting of the Literary Association. The class-teacher gives necessary guidance and direction to the students for conducting these meetings in the most useful way. The elected secretary of the association organizes the meeting in consultation with the class-teacher.

At St. Xavier’s Public School, student-led clubs provide opportunities to explore new interests, build leadership skills, and contribute meaningfully to the community.
The Science Club
This is meant to create in our students an increased interest in, and love for, Science and to create a scientific attitude and to equip students for innovative scientific experiments.
The Nature-Club
The Nature-club of the school plays a vital role in creating environmental awareness among the students. The activities of the club are mainly centered around green environment and clean environment.
School Band
We have a good band troupe, trained by an expert band master and equipped by class band instruments. They perform in the School and occasionally for the public programmes..
The Social Science Club
This club aims at creating awareness among the pupils of our rich history and cultural heritage, economic growth of the country and to appreciate various geographical features of the country.
Tours & Trips
Educational tours and excursions to places of historical or national importance and exotic sites are conducted for seniors and juniors separately during the academic year.
The Anti-drug club
Awareness programmes about the evils of drug addiction is given to students and to the public through seminars, street plays, and rallies.
Nallapadam and Charity Club
Our students associate with Malayala Manorama’s Nallapadam and do various social services. Several initiatives are taken by the students to help the poor , to help poor patients for treatment and to provide food , dress and cultural programmes for the inmates of a couple of destitute houses.
Junior Red Cross, Scouts & Guides
In order to promote personal discipline and spirit of service among the students the Junior Red Cross And Bharath Scouts And Guides are functioning in the school.The students are adviced to join such great organizations.
